I mixed and mingled with some really cool people at the GreenDrinksNYC 2010 Holiday Party. The house was packed, and the crowd was boisterous. There was even a chocolate room stocked with an endless spread of delicious, sustainable chocolate bars! In the middle of the evening, famed environmentalist David de Rothschildtook to the stage to speak about the health of the world’s oceans. The message was serious, but he balanced it with his spunky, sarcastic wit.
My Master Retro chandelier, made specifically for the event, hung next to the stage. I took me and three friends to weave all the sixpack rings into long strands. I named it Master Retro, because we all happened to have masters degrees and were listening to retro 80’s music while we were working on it. 
The general buzz throughout the night was that my lights were a hit! 
At the end of the evening the first pendant light from Relevé Design found a new home after a successful silent auction.
